MEGHAN and CATIE at Crane Flat
As part of the stewardship program, up near Crane Flat, during a hike, we measured the tree [Behind us](Using MATH, people!) and were given the honor of naming the tree as a reward for our work. We decided that it should be for Dr. Ralph Giovanniello, the late founder of Stuart School.
And yes Ashley, we do have to wear pants! (She meant SNOW pants, but it sounded so goofy.....)
We got to name RALPH the Tree, it's OFFICIAL, ask the park!

In Curry Village, there is a very strict policy of lights OUT and no student is allowed to go UNescorted. The reason why is that they often CAN get into more trouble than the bears! Check on the page links below for the views of the inside of the tents. SOME have heat, but that is for thawing out! All day heat is inside Curry Lodge or self generating on the hikes.
